Though you do still control units and stuff like that. It's just a very simple game where combat is done in the same area as everything else, so no separate battle screen much like Crusader Kings and unlike most other NA or ROTK games. In my opinion, ROTK 11 is the easiest (and best) game for beginners to get into though it is vastly different from the rest of the NA and ROTK games, especially the modern ones.
